Most people come here via a search engine and looking for "open+firmware+tutorial". The ever more outdated Open Firmware Tutorial can be found here. I will eventually update this and probably include information about newer machines too. But until then, this is it.

Note that you DO NOT NEED TestXPane on Mac OS X 10.3 ("Panther"). Nor should you even attempt to use it.
